Bonsai is an all in one business platform for freelancers and small agencies: proposals, contracts with e-signatures, invoicing, time tracking, client CRM, expense tracking, tax estimates and a business bank account. It replaces a stack of separate tools, and it has a loyal following among designers, developers and consultants.

The affiliate program pays 200 percent of a referred customer's first monthly payment when they subscribe to a monthly plan, or 30 percent of the payment when they choose an annual plan. The cookie is 60 days. Applications are reviewed through the affiliates page, and payouts are monthly by PayPal. The threshold is not published. Because Bonsai's plans are priced per user with add ons for tax and banking, team accounts push the commission up.

Two hundred percent of a first month is a strong upfront bounty, and the annual option pays a comparable lump for customers who commit for a year.
