About the program
Descript is the editor that lets you cut video and audio by editing the transcript. It adds AI voice cloning, filler word removal, studio sound, eye contact correction and screen recording, and it has become standard equipment for podcasters and YouTubers who want fast edits without a traditional timeline.
The affiliate program changed in early 2024. It now pays a flat $25 for each new qualifying subscription, replacing the older 15 percent recurring deal that many directories still list. The cookie is 30 days. The program moved from LinkMink to PartnerStack, so approved affiliates set up a PartnerStack account to get their link, and payouts are monthly by PayPal with no minimum threshold. Applications are reviewed, and the full terms are published on Descript's site.
A one time $25 is modest for a tool with annual plans, but the brand converts very well from creator audiences and there is no threshold to wait for.
Descript converts from podcast editing tutorials, video editing software comparisons, creator tool stacks, AI voice and dubbing guides and reviews aimed at people intimidated by Premiere or DaVinci. Demo videos that show transcript editing in action are the most effective format. Treat it as a volume program and pair it with recurring tools in the same content.
Terms are as published by the program and can change. Confirm on the program's own page before you rely on them.
