Ecwid, now part of Lightspeed, is the ecommerce tool that bolts a store onto a website you already have. It embeds in WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Joomla and plain HTML sites, sells across Instagram, Facebook, Amazon and Google, and offers a free plan for small catalogues. Small businesses that do not want to rebuild their site to sell online are its core market.

The affiliate program pays 20 percent recurring commission on referred subscriptions, including renewals and upgrades, for as long as the customer stays. The cookie is reported at 30 days by most sources and 90 by some, so confirm it in your dashboard. Payouts are processed on the 10th of each month by PayPal once you have $50 in commissions. Applications are reviewed, and the program is managed in house with its own partner portal.

Ecwid's plans are modest, so individual commissions are small, but the recurring term is open ended and the audience is broad.
