Osprey Packs Affiliate Program

Osprey makes the backpacks that dominate hiking, backpacking and travel pack reviews, from daypacks and hydration packs to multi day trekking packs and carry on travel bags. Its lifetime guarantee, which covers repairs for any reason, is a selling point that comes up in almost every review and helps readers commit to a premium pack.

The affiliate program pays 8 percent per sale with a 30 day cookie, which is one of the better rates among outdoor brands. It runs on AvantLink for the US and other regions and on Awin for Europe, so you apply through the network that matches your audience. Applications are reviewed by hand. AvantLink pays monthly, by PayPal, direct deposit or check, and commissions are confirmed after the return window.

A single brand program means a narrower catalogue than a retailer like REI, but Osprey's packs are what people search for by name, and the 30 day cookie gives readers time to compare sizes and models before buying.

Osprey converts from pack reviews, size and fit guides, thru-hiking gear lists, one bag travel content and comparisons between its own models, such as the Atmos and the Exos. Travel bloggers can promote its carry on line as well as its hiking packs.
