Printify is the other giant of print on demand. Rather than printing itself, it connects sellers to a network of print providers so they can compare prices and locations, which usually makes it the cheaper option and the favourite of margin focused Etsy sellers. Its free plan and Premium discount tier bring in enormous numbers of new sellers.

The affiliate program pays 5 percent of every sale a referred customer makes for 12 consecutive months. The rate is lower than Printful's, but the cookie is 90 days rather than 30, and Printify says its average active affiliate earns around $1,000 a month. The program runs on PartnerStack, applications are reviewed within two working days, and payouts go out at the start of each month by PayPal. Custom promo codes are available on request, which helps YouTube and podcast promotion, and there is no cap on referrals.

Bloggers, YouTubers, agencies and print on demand specialists are all eligible, and the application includes a short questionnaire.
