WP Engine Affiliate Program

WP Engine is the managed WordPress host that agencies and serious publishers default to, and its affiliate program has funded a generation of hosting review sites. The program moved from ShareASale to Everflow, so any older links you find should be replaced with a new tracking link from the Everflow dashboard.

The commission is $200 or the customer's first month's payment, whichever is higher, which means a $290 a month Scale plan pays $290. Lite plans pay $100. Annual purchases are divided by twelve to work out the monthly equivalent. The cookie lasts 180 days, one of the longest in hosting. Commissions are paid around the 20th of the month once a referral has been active for 62 days and remains in good standing.

The rules are firmer than most. Direct linking is not allowed, your links may only appear on domains you own, social media links must go through a landing page, self referrals are banned and there is no commission on upgrades or add ons. Applications are reviewed, so apply with a live site.

WP Engine converts from managed hosting comparisons, speed and migration tutorials, and agency focused content about client hosting. Because the customer is usually a business rather than a hobbyist, the bounty is large and the refund rate is low. It remains one of the anchor programs for any WordPress site.
