Because Kayak earns per click out to its partners as well as on some direct bookings, you are paid on searches that lead to redirects. Applications are reviewed, and the network provides search widgets, deep links, white label options and an API. Payouts are monthly by bank transfer or PayPal, but the threshold is $500, which is high for a small site.

The high threshold suits established travel publishers with steady search volume rather than new blogs.
