Amazon OneLink

Amazon OneLink is the Associates program's own answer to international traffic. Without it, a reader in the United Kingdom who clicks your amazon.com link lands on a store they cannot buy from and you earn nothing. With OneLink, a small JavaScript snippet in your site footer detects Amazon links on the page and swaps them for redirects that send each visitor to the matching product on their local Amazon store, credited to the tracking ID you hold for that country.

Setup has three steps. Hold an approved Associates account in each marketplace you want to earn from, link those accounts and their tracking IDs in Associates Central, then paste the script. OneLink currently lands visitors from Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom in their local store. Existing links keep working; nothing needs rewriting.

The limits follow from the design. OneLink only works where you can add JavaScript, so it does nothing for links in emails, social posts or video descriptions, and it does not cloak, track clicks or check for broken products. Each marketplace has its own participation requirements and its own sales quota to stay active.

If your site is on WordPress and your international audience is in those countries, OneLink is free and should be on. If you need coverage elsewhere or links off-site, Geniuslink or a plugin with geo redirects fills the gap.
