Howl

Howl, previously Narrativ, is a creator commerce platform built around the idea that commission alone undervalues good content. Alongside standard affiliate commission it offers flat fees and licensing payments for content, pay per lead and cost per click deals, and access to retail media network budgets, so a creator can be paid upfront and on performance for the same post.

The brands on the platform are the draw: Nike, Sephora, Walmart, Sony, Puma, Target, Dick's Sporting Goods and Salomon among them, with rates described as premium relative to what those brands pay through general networks. Howl says it welcomes creators of all sizes and weighs engagement and conversion potential over follower count, though its premium deals carry their own requirements. A selective Howl Select program offers guaranteed flat fees, reported at $25,000, plus growth and testing budgets.

Payment has no minimum threshold and no hidden fees, but the timing is slower than creator platforms that pay weekly: once a transaction clears you are paid in the next cycle, commonly Net 30, 60 or 90 depending on the brand.

Worth joining if you cover major retail brands and want revenue that is not purely performance based. If you need fast cash flow, the weekly payers will suit you better.
