Levanta exists because of a gap in Amazon Associates. A creator sending sales to an Amazon listing earns Amazon's category rate, often 3 or 4 percent, no matter how valuable that sale is to the seller. Levanta lets the brand set its own commission directly, frequently well above Amazon's rates, and pays the creator that amount.

It works as a marketplace. Brands selling on Amazon, and now Shopify and Walmart, list their products with the commission they are willing to pay, creators browse and request partnerships, and tracking runs through Amazon Attribution and brand referral links so the seller also captures Amazon's brand referral bonus. Levanta handles commission management, automated payouts and reporting across all three marketplaces in one place.

For creators it is free to join and Levanta states it never takes a cut of your commissions, earning instead from the brands who pay for the platform. Published case studies include HyperIce, JLab and REVO, and the network cites thousands of active creators.
