Prefinery has been running viral waitlists and beta programs since 2008, which makes it one of the oldest tools in this section and considerably older than most of the launch tactics it supports.

The mechanic is the familiar one: someone joins your waitlist, gets a referral link, and moves up the queue for each friend who joins. Features cover referral links, vanity codes, waiting list queues and reward systems, with position in the queue itself acting as the incentive.

Lite is $39 a month for 1,000 users with one campaign, basic analytics and no team members. Essentials is $199 for 10,000 users with three campaigns, two team members and full analytics. Pro is $399 for 50,000 users with ten campaigns and ten team members. Extra users are half a cent each per month on every tier, and semi annual billing saves 20 percent. Integrations, including Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Zapier with its 3,000 apps, webhooks and API access, start at Essentials rather than Lite, which is the main reason to skip the entry plan.

Every plan comes with a 14 day free trial that needs a card but charges nothing during the period. For a pre launch product, $39 a month is a cheap way to find out whether anyone wants it.
