What it does

ReferralHero runs referral campaigns, waitlists and contests, and its free forever plan is genuinely useful rather than a teaser: 25 subscribers with every Pro feature included, no card required, with ReferralHero branding on the widget.

Pro is $199 a month for up to 10,000 members and covers custom branding, analytics, integrations, Facebook Pixel, anti fraud, coupon codes, unlimited campaigns, referral links, automation emails, a custom sender domain, API access and webhooks. Premium is $399 for up to 50,000 members and adds ReCaptcha and SMS verification. A separate waitlist and contest plan is $199 a month for 50,000 subscribers with broadcasts and priority support, and annual prepayment saves $597, effectively three months free. Enterprise is custom.

Anyone who joins a campaign counts as a subscriber, whether directly or through a referral, so model that before choosing a tier. Within a tier there are no scaling fees.

Installation is described as copy and paste with no developer required, and there is a seven day trial on paid plans plus a ten day risk free window on the waitlist plan. For a pre launch product, starting free and upgrading at 25 signups is a low risk way in. Its templates cover the common launch patterns, so most campaigns need only branding changes.
