Talkable

Talkable is an enterprise referral platform for ecommerce and retail brands, with clients including LaserAway, Rothy's, Caraway, Puma, Seed, Sandals and Hydrow across beauty, fashion, food and beverage, furniture and health and wellness. It works with both direct to consumer and omnichannel retailers, and has offices in San Francisco and London.

Fraud prevention is what it leads with, claiming to have blocked more than $100 million in fraudulent referrals. At enterprise volume that is the right emphasis: a referral program with a real discount attached attracts people creating fake accounts to refer themselves, and the losses scale with the program.

The rest of the platform is built so marketers do not need engineering to run it. Campaign creation, A/B testing of offers, placements and designs, behavioural and purchase segmentation, and detailed reporting all sit in the marketer's hands. Newer additions include video referrals using customer content, the Talkable Wallet for mobile engagement, and AI generated campaign notes.

Integrations cover Shopify, Klaviyo, Attentive SMS, subscription tools and specialty reward providers. Pricing is not published and there is no self serve trial, which places it firmly in the enterprise bracket alongside Extole and Mention Me.
