Nifty Stats takes a different route from the cloud dashboards in this section. It is a desktop application for Windows and Mac that logs into your affiliate programs and advertising accounts at regular intervals, downloads the stats and stores them on your own computer. The company has done this since 2007 and counts more than 20,000 customers.

Coverage is the selling point: over 10,000 affiliate programs and thousands of advertising networks, from Amazon, eBay and ClickBank to Google Ads and Facebook. Sales and expenses are charted side by side, clicks and impressions are broken down per program, and an Android app pushes sales summaries to your phone. Because the app needs to run continuously, every plan includes a free virtual private server to host it on, which is unusual and removes the need to leave a home PC switched on.

Pricing is flat rather than volume based: $34.95 for one month, $99 for three months or $349 for a year, all with the same features, VPS and Android access. Credit card and Bitcoin are accepted, and a free trial is available.

Nifty Stats suits affiliates who value owning their data and running many small programs. It does not attribute conversions to pages or sync to ad platforms; for that you need WeCanTrack or Affilimate.
