Overview

Google's program for Google Ads agencies, with Partner and Premier Partner badges based on certifications, performance and ad spend.

About the program

Google Partners is Google's program for agencies and marketers that manage Google Ads accounts for clients. It doesn't pay commission. Its value lies in the Google Partner badge, which many businesses look for when choosing an ads agency, and in the training and support that come with it.

The program has three levels: Member, Partner and Premier Partner. Anyone can sign up as a member. To earn Partner status, a company must meet three requirements: performance, based on how well it manages client accounts, ad spend across the accounts it manages, and certifications held by its team. Google checks these requirements every day.

Premier Partner is the top level. It goes to companies that meet the Partner requirements and rank in the top 3% of participating companies in their country, based on growing client accounts and winning new clients. Google re-evaluates Premier Partner status every year, so it has to be maintained.

Partners can display their badge on their website and marketing materials, and get access to Google Ads training, support and partner events.

Joining is free. It suits any agency or freelancer running Google Ads for clients, and it is close to essential for PPC agencies that want to show credibility to prospects.
