Google Workspace Marketplace

The Google Workspace Marketplace is where developers publish apps and add-ons that extend Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Calendar and other Google Workspace tools. It reaches both individual users and organisations whose administrators install apps for their whole domain.

Listing is free, and Google doesn't take a share of sales. Developers handle payments directly with their users, and Google doesn't process payments for marketplace apps, although listings can show pricing information so users know what to expect.

To publish, developers create a store listing and submit the app for review against Google's requirements. Apps that access sensitive user data also need to pass Google's OAuth verification, which can take time and may involve a security assessment. Once listed, developers can manage their listing, reply to reviews, see installation and licensing details, and add a promotional badge to their own website.

Google can't be paid for featured placement, but apps that meet quality, security and integration standards can be picked for featured collections and Editor's choice, which help with discovery.
