About the program
Mailchimp & Co is Mailchimp's partner program for freelancers and agencies that use Mailchimp for their clients. It is free to join with any Mailchimp account, and after accepting the program terms you start as a member and unlock higher levels as you meet their qualifications.
The program pays two kinds of commission. Eligible members in the rewards program earn 25% commission on new customer referrals and 5% on the revenue of customers they manage. To qualify, you need at least two paid clients connected to your account, and commissions apply to referred customers who buy a paid plan and to existing customers who upgrade from a free plan through you. How long you earn commission on a connected account depends on your membership level.
Higher levels bring more tools and visibility, including a listing in the Mailchimp Experts Directory, where businesses look for help with their email marketing. Technology companies can separately list integrations in Mailchimp's Integrations Directory.
It suits freelance marketers and agencies that already set up and run Mailchimp for small businesses. The 5% on managed revenue rewards you for accounts you keep looking after, not just new sign-ups.
