Wix App Market

The Wix App Market is where developers publish apps that extend Wix websites, reaching millions of Wix site owners and the agencies that build client sites on Wix Studio. Apps cover everything from booking and ecommerce tools to marketing, forms and analytics.

The revenue share is generous by marketplace standards. In your first year, you receive 100% of your app's sales revenue. After that, you keep 80% and Wix takes 20%. Revenue is calculated after a 2.5% transaction fee and any applicable sales tax, and Wix pays out your share on a net 30 end-of-month basis.

Wix handles billing for paid apps, so you don't need to build your own payment system. Your app identifies each site it is installed on and the pricing plan that site chose, which lets you deliver the right features to each customer.

Apps must follow Wix's App Market guidelines and go through a review before they are listed. Wix Studio agencies can also earn from third-party apps they install for clients, which gives agencies a reason to recommend good apps.

It suits developers and SaaS companies building tools for small businesses and creators who run their websites on Wix, as well as agencies that build reusable tools for their own client sites.
