About the program
The Xero Partner Program is for accounting and bookkeeping practices that manage their clients' books on Xero. It is one of the most widely used programs for accountants, and it helps small businesses find advisors who know the software.
To join, you need to be an accounting practice with at least one registered accountant, and at least one person in your practice must commit to completing the Xero advisor certification. Joining is free.
Xero's benefits focus on helping practices serve clients and win new ones rather than paying commission. Partners are listed in the Xero advisor directory, which businesses use to find an accountant, and get dedicated support at no cost. Partners at Bronze level and above are eligible for discounts on Xero business subscriptions, which grow as the practice moves up the tiers, and eligible plans include access to Syft Analytics for reporting.
The tiers are based on the number of client subscriptions a practice manages, so benefits increase as more of your clients move onto Xero.
It suits accounting firms and bookkeepers that want to standardise clients on one platform and be found by businesses looking for Xero expertise. Xero also runs a separate program for app developers building integrations, and an affiliate program for publishers.
